Saverio Tonete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Alfonso in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Alonzo Hegoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sixto Mikeldi. Alonzo Hegoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Fulgencio Remir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Gardelitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Teofilo Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Gardelitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Ihintza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pajalta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Gardelitos the free kick. The supporters of Club Atletico Gardelitos booed when Pajalta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Gardelitos's Oscar Burutzagi got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pajalta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Ihintza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Mikeldi was relentless in the 75th minute of the game.
