The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Tuukka Karvinen put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Delmiro Ruisko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Oskitz in the 11th minute of play forced Albigasta's goalkeeper Saverio Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Albigasta got a freekick which was hit by Tuukka Karvinen. Albigasta's Saverio Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Oskitz in the 16th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Claudio Abar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albigasta and the Sainuco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Albigasta getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Claudio Abar hit a great ball. Iker Sidro struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Saverio Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sainuco AFC. After 27 minutes, Aureliano De la Fuente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albigasta and the Sainuco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Albigasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano De la Fuente to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Ruisko came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Albigasta's Tuukka Karvinen. But to his dismay, Tuukka Karvinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 35 minutes into the game, Albigasta's Tuukka Karvinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmiro Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. During the 44th minute of the match Aureliano De la Fuente completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aureliano De la Fuente a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuukka Karvinen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Eugenio Llanos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Tuukka Karvinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuukka Karvinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute, Eugenio Llanos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albigasta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. A collision led to Albigasta getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tuukka Karvinen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Sidro in the 71st minute of play forced Albigasta's goalkeeper Saverio Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Albigasta got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Llanos. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Iker Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sainuco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Iker Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuukka Karvinen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Delmiro Ruisko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th match minute, Sainuco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Marz to maneuver through the defense. Tuukka Karvinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Albigasta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
