In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chajarí FC's goalkeeper Roman Romano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Leandro Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chajarí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Indar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Gartzi in the 16th minute. Ubaldo Itzaina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Romano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Ubaldo Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Leandro Gartzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorio Indar was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Leandro Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Leandro Gartzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorio Indar was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bernardino Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chajarí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Cordeara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Gartzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorio Indar having to make a save. If Bernardino Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, one of Unquillo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unquillo. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Chajarí FC. Leandro Gartzi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Honorio Indar. 2-0. The supporters of Chajarí FC booed when Unquillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Ekaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Inocencio Piarres suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 47 minutes, Melquiades Onbera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unquillo and the Chajarí FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chajarí FC's Marcos Damario was substituted for Inocencio Piarres. After a rather tough play, Unquillo's Melquiades Onbera got a free kick in the 48th minute. Leandro Gartzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Indar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Gartzi ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubaldo Itzaina to make the kick off. Unquillo's Honorio Indar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Gartzi in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unquillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardino Cordeara was slow to take the kick. During this time Chajarí FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chajarí FC's Bernardino Cordeara to fire away a dangerous shot which Honorio Indar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leandro Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Honorio Indar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Gartzi in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Indar saved Unquillo from getting behind. When Bernardino Cordeara came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Chajarí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Cordeara couldn't finish the play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Leandro Gartzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unquillo's Honorio Indar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Siese kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Guillermo Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chajarí FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unquillo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chajarí FC's Guillermo Acuña got a free kick in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Macias during the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Gartzi in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Indar saved Unquillo from getting behind. Bernardino Cordeara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Indar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Leandro Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honorio Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Gartzi in the 95th minute of play. Fabian Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Honorio Indar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chajarí FC had played much better football throughout.
