Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nunez Montrelle started the match with the kick off. Luciano Delfino's late challenge caught a Suco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, El Cafia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Delfino to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Asier in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Cristofol in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Ponc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Montrelle in the 9th minute of play forced El Cafia's goalkeeper Santiago Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Ponc having to interfere. Humberto Goiz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Cristofol got free with Santiago Ponc in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Albano Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Camerino in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Cristo Baudelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Eron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of El Cafia booed when Suco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, El Cafia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Baudelio to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Albano Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Camerino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Felix Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Nunez Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Santiago Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Suco's Nunez Montrelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Ponc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Oskitz got free with Albano Eron in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aldo Camerino succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. A collision led to El Cafia getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Florencio Ferrando hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Baudelio during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes El Cafia got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Baudelio. If Felix Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Ponc having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, El Cafia's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Montrelle came free, but Santiago Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Rius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Suco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! If Felix Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
