In the 17th match minute, Hickman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Osvaldo Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akatsuki FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Otsoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Calvet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Laurgain in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 played minutes Akatsuki FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Elequemedo. Filiberto Silviano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lino Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Cresitobalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Calvet having to interfere. If Filomeno Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Akatsuki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Alonso came free, but Gaspar Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Filomeno Laurgain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Napier. Akatsuki FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Laurgain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Alonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Akatsuki FC booed when Hickman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Cresitobalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game Osvaldo Otsoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hickman's Jeremias Calvet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lino Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hickman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Alonso couldn't finish the play. After 99 played minutes Akatsuki FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Jaizki. Gaspar Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Alonso's shot from short distance in the 102nd minute.
