Ovidio Aragones came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabricio Manni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Baldomiro Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Santo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Manni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Paulo Cristofor scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Mosen in the 31st minute of play forced Huergo's goalkeeper Baldomiro Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Paulo Cristofor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Baldomiro Osoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santo Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ovidio Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Gonzales's late challenge caught a Huergo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Gonzales helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Gonzales kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Atilano Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huergo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Aragones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Manni in the 41st minute. Chivilgol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Atilano Abreu scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Aragones, making the score, 3-2. In the 47th minute, Victorio Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Manni made a kick off. Ovidio Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Lordi in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Sixto Fonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huergo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Fonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Chivilgol's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Larpe came free, but Ovidio Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Chivilgol's Paulo Cristofor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomiro Osoro. Baldomiro Osoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Baldomiro Osoro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. When Huergo's Fabricio Manni in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chivilgol's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Fabricio Manni notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Chivilgol's Ovidio Aragones. Ovidio Aragones was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Fabricio Manni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huergo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Manni in the 79th minute of play forced Chivilgol's goalkeeper Ovidio Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivilgol's Ovidio Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Manni in the 81st minute of play. Victorio Tonio charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Tonio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chivilgol's Victorio Tonio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Santo Lordi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fabricio Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Aragones having to interfere. Donato Karmel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Ovidio Aragones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huergo. Ovidio Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Baldomiro Osoro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Cristofor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-5 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Paulo Cristofor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baldomiro Osoro. The goal made the score 5-6. Although Huergo had been in control for most of the match, Chivilgol still came away with the win.
