In the 3rdth minute of the game Alfredo Maria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Alfredo Maria notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo. Alonzo Iratxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alonzo Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Maria in the 10th minute of play. Alfredo Maria took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Iratxo. Alonzo Iratxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Maria in the 14th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Leonardo Sosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Dominic's late challenge caught a Hijos del Powa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Dominic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Alfredo Maria made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Iratxo. Hijos del Powa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Alfredo Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alonzo Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Fausto Ursino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LEON AFC and the Hijos del Powa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes LEON AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ursino. Alonzo Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Maria in the 45th minute of the match. When Prospero Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the LEON AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Dominic couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alfredo Maria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Alonzo Iratxo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Hijos del Powa from getting a goal against them. Alonzo Iratxo was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Alfredo Maria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Maria really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. A hard shot 60 in the game by Alfredo Maria from a close distance when the talented Alonzo Iratxo managed to make a qualified save. Hijos del Powa's players were relieved. Anacleto Bermund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Alfredo Maria lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Alonzo Iratxo. After 70 played minutes LEON AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Ikatz. In the 72nd minute, Alfredo Maria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alonzo Iratxo. The goal made the score 0-8. After 76th play minutes Alfredo Maria shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Alonzo Iratxo and just under the crossbar into goal. Alonzo Iratxo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anacleto Bermund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 79 minute of play. LEON AFC played a much better game than Hijos del Powa and deserved their victory. The Hijos del Powa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
