Valeriu Banica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Luzea having to interfere. Valeriu Banica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NIEDO's Fausto Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Niguel in the 26th minute of play. If Valeriu Banica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Luzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Banica, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Hijos del Powa's Alonzo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Sazon in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Erasmo Sazon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Sazon to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Valeriu Banica notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of NIEDO's Americo Luzea. Americo Luzea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valeriu Banica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Americo Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, one of Hijos del Powa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hijos del Powa. Alonzo Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Luzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Oro in the 76th minute of play. Hector Oro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Americo Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Florinio got in the 82nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Americo Luzea handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Alonzo Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Sazon in the 90th minute of the match. Alonzo Iratxo came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by NIEDO's Fausto Niguel. But to his dismay, Fausto Niguel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Hector Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hijos del Powa's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Oro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Luzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hijos del Powa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
