Aquilino Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Saul Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Jonas Camerino made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Maxin. Irala AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Dario Abecia put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gualjaina AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! After 42 played minutes Gualjaina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Txomin. Lino Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Camilo Eneto struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aquilino Espiridion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irala AFC. Irala AFC's Florencio Ebardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfonso Hegoi, made in the 58th minute of the game. Aquilino Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Eneto in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Irala AFC booed when Gualjaina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Espiridion came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Irala AFC's Everardo Cordarrol. But to his dismay, Everardo Cordarrol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Aquilino Espiridion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Guillem in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute Camilo Eneto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gualjaina AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Irala AFC.
