The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Israel Cesario elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lagartos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Walter Alvarez 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Genaro Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Florin in the 19th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Lagartos FC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Teyo. The attack was good, but when Jorge Ishmael in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Lagartos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gervasio Rivero hit a great ball. Walter Alvarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santo Ondino came out and tried to block the shot, but Walter Alvarez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 29th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jorge Ishmael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagartos FC's Santo Ondino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Israel Cesario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagartos FC and the Boca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lagartos FC's Israel Cesario got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Grabowicz got free with Santo Ondino in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca's Walter Alvarez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santo Ondino. That made the score 3-1 after 46 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Ishmael to make the kick off. Kazimierz Grabowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Santo Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes of play, Boca's Jorge Ishmael made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Ondino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santo Ondino came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca's Jorge Ishmael. But to his dismay, Jorge Ishmael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Boca's Elvio Bertin was substituted for Kazimierz Grabowicz. In the 62nd match minute, Lagartos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Truylos to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Galindo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lagartos FC's Eustacio Florin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 72nd minute Israel Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Marco Pierres in the 74th minute really tested Genaro Galindo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Santo Ondino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Alvarez in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boca's Paulino Bittor got a free kick in the 81st minute. Lagartos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca the free kick. After 84 played minutes Lagartos FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Truylos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Alvarez in the 90th minute of play forced Lagartos FC's goalkeeper Santo Ondino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Boca's Jorge Ishmael in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lagartos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boca fully deserved thier win.
