Lagartos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Petronila's zone, Gervasio Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Videl came out of the goal and Gervasio Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Florins short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Fermin Videl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Israel Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Videl having to interfere. A hard shot 17 in the game by Eustacio Florin from a close distance when the talented Fermin Videl managed to make a qualified save. Petronila's players were relieved. In the 19th minute, Israel Cesario sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Petronila's Fermin Videl didn't even have to move. Eustacio Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Manilan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gervasio Rivero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fermin Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Cesario in the 28th minute of the match. Ceferino Ur charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Ur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Ceferino Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Florins short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Fermin Videl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 33rdth minute of the game Israel Cesario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petronila's Fermin Videl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Eustacio Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Cesario in the 41st minute of play forced Petronila's goalkeeper Fermin Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Gines to strike the kick off in the second half. Fermin Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Florin in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Israel Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Videl was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Lagartos FC's zone, Saturnino Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Ondino came out of the goal and Saturnino Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Ondino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Euloxu in the 63rd minute. Marco Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Israel Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Videl having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Isaias Esdras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petronila and the Lagartos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaias Esdras hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Israel Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Marciano Euloxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 minutes, Eustacio Florin made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Petronila's Fermin Videl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Israel Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fermin Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Israel Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Lagartos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Cesario couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Lagartos FC's Mariano Truylos got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petronila's goalkeeper Fermin Videl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute of the match Gervasio Rivero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Videl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
