The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustavo Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Peru having to interfere. Gustavo Peru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Gustavo Peru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gonzo in the 13th minute of play. Fermin Egun might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Mano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Egun ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Herena received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Mano came out and tried to block the shot, but Apolo Herena slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in atlas futbol club 2's zone, Gustavo Gonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Peru came out of the goal and Gustavo Gonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Apolo Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot. atlas futbol club 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Herena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Mano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in atlas futbol club 2's zone, Gustavo Gonzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Peru came out of the goal and Gustavo Gonzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 minutes of play, Chacarita JRS's Gustavo Gonzo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Peru was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Herena to make the kick off. Gustavo Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Peru made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gustavo Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Abadie got free with Gustavo Peru in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaston Bento charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Bento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 白森延 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Gonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Peru having to make a save. If Gustavo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Peru made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gustavo Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gustavo Peru made a huge save. Eduardo Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Egun hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The atlas futbol club 2 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
