With a little luck, Sportivo Los Zorros's Santo Txerran got control of the ball when Esteban Mouricio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Remigio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Virgilio Ferman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Los Zorros. The supporters of Sportivo Los Zorros booed when DEPORTIVO CARRERAS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Sportivo Los Zorros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Prospero Manuelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Txerran skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Justo Nuñez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Los Zorros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEPORTIVO CARRERAS F.C. the free kick. In the 58th minute, Justo Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DEPORTIVO CARRERAS F.C.'s Esteban Mouricio managed to work through Sportivo Los Zorros's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Prospero Manuelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santo Txerran. 1-4. Esteban Mouricio might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Txerran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Mouricio ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO CARRERAS F.C.'s Anselmo Bermudez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Txerran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sportivo Los Zorros's Santo Txerran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Bermudez in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Alfonso Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Ferman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Mouricio in the 84th minute of play forced Sportivo Los Zorros's goalkeeper Santo Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Txerran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Braulio Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anselmo Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Elpidio Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
