In the 16thth minute of the game Basilio Misael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but independiente's Wen Ang Quan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Adan Fidensio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Pascual Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Misael made a kick off. independiente's Adan Fidensio got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Pascual Natanael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute of the match Raul Taurino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Quirce skillfully saved the ball. Martin Quirce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adan Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
