Robustiano Guilabertus kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Honorio Calvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Gauargi. Paraná AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Calvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hermengildo Cuartio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Carmelo Janpier made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Baltasar Aguirre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carmelo Janpier. Baltasar Aguirre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Carmelo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gaston Palos in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carmelo Janpier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Vitale in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Gauargi saved Paraná AFC from getting behind. Carmelo Janpier was a little too slow when Baltasar Aguirre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-1. Midnightblue FC's Carmelo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Ado in the 41st minute of play. Ernesto Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Calvino in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Honorio Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midnightblue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Calvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mário Vitale made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Carmelo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Vitale in the 66th minute of play forced Paraná AFC's goalkeeper Ernesto Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Gauargi having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Marciano Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midnightblue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Blai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Gauargi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mário Vitale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 82 minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Paraná AFC's Gaston Palos made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Janpier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorio Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Gauargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Vitale in the 96th minute. Midnightblue FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Paraná AFC had won, even though Midnightblue FC had held more of the ball.
