Standard Liege AFC's Marcos Dayam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Felipo in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Standard Liege AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Ramos came free, but Marcos Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marcos Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Corralitos's goalkeeper Julio Macerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Lopez. Julio Macerio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Eguerdi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. If Leon Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Ramos struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Marcos Dayam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corralitos. Maximiliano Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcos Dayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Dayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Maximiliano Ramos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Dayam was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Macerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Lopez's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Aureliano Ramirez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corralitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Standard Liege AFC the free kick. After 55 played minutes Corralitos got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Ramirez. Oscar Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Corralitos booed when Standard Liege AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 70th minute, when Corralitos's Luciano Cordarell after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Marcos Dayam in Standard Liege AFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 73rd minute, Leon Felipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Standard Liege AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Txordon hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Julio Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Lopez in the 87th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
