After a defensive mix-up in Jugadores Jovenes Jodidos's zone, Hector Ignatius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Colas came out of the goal and Hector Ignatius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Hector Ignatius notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jugadores Jovenes Jodidos's Epifanio Colas. Epifanio Colas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Benigno Barto hit a great ball. Ruben Madeo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matthew Guerra. Matthew Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hector Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Las Aguilas Xeneizes F.C.'s Benigno Barto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Epifanio Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Aureo in the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Tirso to make the kick off. If Hector Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Hector Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting.
