In the 12th match minute, Calera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Montay to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Silverio Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Asier in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, New Beer Athletic Club's Benicio Ferrando got control of the ball when Virgilio Gonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silverio Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Gelacio in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Asier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Calvino was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Perivaldo Pimenta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Beer Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee ignored New Beer Athletic Club's protests and gave Perivaldo Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead.
