Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bonifacio Salomone made the kick off and thus started the match. Sacanta's Constantino Gonzalez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ermegildo Onbera but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gitano Tojedo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ildefonso Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pozuelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gitano Tojedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gitano Tojedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Escobar in the 13th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Sacanta got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Jacob. In the 17thth minute of the game Teofilo Brion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacanta's Gitano Tojedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Bikendi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sacanta's Gitano Tojedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Brion in the 29th minute of play. Basilio Manuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Onbera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Manuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sacanta booed when Pozuelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gitano Tojedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Brion to make the kick off. Gitano Tojedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Brion's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute, Amado Restu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Salomone in the 73rd minute of play forced Pozuelos's goalkeeper Ermegildo Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Escobar struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gitano Tojedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozuelos. Saturnino Escobar kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 78thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sacanta's keeper Gitano Tojedo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gitano Tojedo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Saturnino Escobar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pozuelos's Amado Restu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute, Pozuelos's Saturnino Escobar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gitano Tojedo. Gitano Tojedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 96th minute Teofilo Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gitano Tojedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pozuelos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
