Albino Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Albino Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Sindo in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonello Oriali in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Fonda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Huelén's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Oriali came free, but Gonzalo Fonda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Matadores del 98's Gonzalo Fonda threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulises Orlo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Domingos Nuno charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Nuno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Huelén getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gogo Montrel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonello Oriali in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Matadores del 98's Antonello Oriali in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huelén's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Pueblo to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Matadores del 98's Antonello Oriali made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzalo Fonda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remigio Sindo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albino Roano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Remigio Sindo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albino Roano came out and tried to block the shot, but Remigio Sindo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. Gonzalo Fonda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonello Oriali went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Huelén's Gonzalo Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Oriali in the 67th minute of play. If Severino Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Huelén getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Elias Gelmiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Matadores del 98's Edgard Quexal got a free kick in the 77th minute. A hard shot by Mauricio Satordi from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Albino Roano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Antonello Oriali came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Matadores del 98 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Oriali couldn't finish the play. Ulises Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gonzalo Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Fonda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonello Oriali's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Antonello Oriali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Fonda having to interfere. Gonzalo Fonda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Orlo in the 93rd minute of the match. Antonello Oriali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huelén's Remigio Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
