Ezequiel Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Beila having to interfere. If Ariel Weterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Echeverría AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Ibar. 60 minutes into the match, Talleres de CBA's Paulo Chesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Diegotxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Claudio Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Echeverría AFC's Melquiades Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Weterio in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Evaristo Celio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Talleres de CBA's Clodoveo Beila.
