Paulo Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Paulo Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres de CBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Chesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Brion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Brion came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de CBA's Ariel Weterio. But to his dismay, Ariel Weterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aquiles Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Weterio in the 38th minute of play. If Luisito Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Mino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Clodoveo Beila when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisito Tadzio to strike the kick off in the second half. Clodoveo Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Tadzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aquiles Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pieres FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Pieres FC's Luisito Tadzio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The tension between the Talleres de CBA and the Pieres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 68 minutes into the match, Talleres de CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Mino came free, but Clodoveo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Urtun hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, Pieres FC's Bruno Mino made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clodoveo Beila was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Talleres de CBA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Talleres de CBA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
