Reynaldo Chorache's late challenge caught a Chorillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Chorache helped the player get up and apologised. Reynaldo Chorache hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute Alfonso Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alfonso Hodei sped through Empalme Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiburcio Jerold. Empalme Fc made a substitution. Osvaldo Cucao replaced Baldomiro Maria.
