The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Anastasio Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Seber in the 56th minute of play. Maximino Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Pagomari having to interfere.
