Panqueua AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benjamin Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Phelipe to make the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match, Rafael Lleir got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florencio Efraim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Panqueua AFC's Florencio Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Raymon in the 60th minute of play. Constantino Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Pinto in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Ramirez in the 66th minute of play forced Riachuelo F.C.'s goalkeeper Constantino Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Francisco Eleder came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Panqueua AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Eleder couldn't finish the play. The goalkeeper, Florencio Efraim, was totally fooled by Riachuelo F.C.'s Ruperto Cordeiro, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marcial Phelipe struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Constantino Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panqueua AFC. In the 79th minute Marcial Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Ramirez in the 88th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Panqueua AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
