The referee ignored C.A.Independiente's protests and gave Robustiano Bibiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pareditas AFC booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Bela in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Soter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rogério Morais 41 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. In the 46th minute, Leonides Nastasio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Soter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Daniele Colaussi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Krommert in the 54th minute of the match.
