An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Manilan in the 14th minute of play forced telse's goalkeeper Luciano Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Pedroso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Theodore's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Maximino Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Iker Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. telse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Theodore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. telse's Luciano Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Manilan in the 35th minute of play. Luciano Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Manilan in the 37th minute of play. Diego Ipar charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Ipar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Ipar hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Celestino Manilan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Furman. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Theodore to make the kick off. telse's Luciano Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save telse from getting a goal against them. Clementi Velazco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, telse's goalkeeper Luciano Furman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celestino Manilan. Iker Theodore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Theodore in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Pedroso saved Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Oalo in the 95th minute of play forced Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Ramon Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The telse fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estudiantes de Rio Cuarto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
