A collision led to EspectroS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Luisito Vergaray hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes EspectroS got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Oihan. If Valentin Quexal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Amador Shantala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matagusanos and the EspectroS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amador Shantala hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cleto Fero hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Igor Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Egun made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Cleto Fero sent off a good shot on target. Igor Teodor's late challenge caught a EspectroS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Teodor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Matagusanos getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Igor Teodor hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Fero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Matagusanos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valentin Quexal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Delmar Oihan struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Amador Ezkerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EspectroS. In the 57th minute, Rolando Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Amador Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, EspectroS's Moises Oskitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Ezkerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, EspectroS's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Fero came free, but Bartolo Egun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Juan Kiliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. EspectroS's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Kiliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Ezkerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Cleto Fero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Egun was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Adolfo Mano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Many of EspectroS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. EspectroS may have spent more time on the ball, but Matagusanos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
