After 4 minutes, Paulino Sindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Reconquista and the Palmita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulino Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Miguel Iturri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palmita's Aristides Gumaro. Aristides Gumaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaime Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Palmita's Aristides Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Sindo in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Palmita's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Sindo came free, but Aristides Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Tab ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, C.A. Reconquista's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Txilar came free, but Julio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, C.A. Reconquista:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palmita:s goal. Igor Laurendi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Igor Laurendi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 40 minutes of play, Palmita's Benicio Txilar made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Eguen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Casimiro Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Txilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Casimiro Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Txilar took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Eguen. Julio Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. C.A. Reconquista's Albino Eli got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of C.A. Reconquista booed when Palmita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Benicio Txilar made a precise shot to the right of Julio Eguen. C.A. Reconquista's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 76th minute Casimiro Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Txilar in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benicio Txilar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Eguen was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. C.A. Casimiro Tab took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Eguen. Julio Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Palmita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
