An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Baleren in the 13th minute of play forced Martini Futbol Club's goalkeeper Eduardo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Colas came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by TREN LOCO's Celedonio Baleren. But to his dismay, Celedonio Baleren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 18th minute, Anastasio Ursino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TREN LOCO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Fiori Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Jairo Ruy made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Colas. Martini Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 34 minutes into the match, Celedonio Baleren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Colas. Martini Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Baleren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Eduardo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Ursino in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Colas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduardo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Martini Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TREN LOCO were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Presebal was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Maule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gil Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Celedonio Baleren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TREN LOCO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Baleren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Ruy got free with Eduardo Colas in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Ruy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Martini Futbol Club defense, Jairo Ruy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Colas. The Martini Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Colas should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, one of Martini Futbol Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Martini Futbol Club. Generoso Polo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gil Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martini Futbol Club. Eduardo Colas was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Jairo Ruy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Ruy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Martini Futbol Club's Eduardo Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Martini Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. If Celedonio Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 96 in the game by Jairo Ruy from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Colas managed to make a qualified save. Martini Futbol Club's players were relieved. TREN LOCO played a much better game than Martini Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Martini Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
