Leones FC's Paulino Enmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alfredo Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Alfredo Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Ihintza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Stephen was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Leonides Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ihintza in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Lomitas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fabian Lertxun hit a great ball. Tomás Berto succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. If Baltasar Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Meder made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Maximiliano Lizbeth sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Baltasar Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Meder came out of the goal and Baltasar Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Meder having to interfere. When Tomás Berto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alejandro Meder was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Anacleto Kinsen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Paulino Enmanuel made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Tomás Berto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Alejandro Meder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Gelacio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes, Carlos Tauro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Lomitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Tauro. In the 75th minute, Baltasar Txerran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Baltasar Txerran struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Alejandro Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomitas. Christian Iraitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lomitas fully deserved thier win.
