Ceferino Illan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laureano Eguzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Illan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Baldomiro Elivareo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atlético Duff booed when Centro Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Asur came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laureano Eguzki could save by the left post. With a little luck, Centro Español's Laureano Eguzki got control of the ball when Enrique Nastasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Ceferino Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Illan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Eguzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Asur got free with Laureano Eguzki in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Centro Español's Laureano Eguzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Centro Español from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Centro Español's goalkeeper Laureano Eguzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laureano Eguzki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Centro Español's Laureano Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Ralondo in the 91st minute of play. Atlético Duff's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
