In the 16th minute Tobias Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Tobias Mercurio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palavicini FC's Teofilo Lope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tobias Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Gaudencio Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonatan Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Poseidon Star Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Calvino couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Hats in the 28th minute of the match. Eustacio Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Poseidon Star Club's Jacinto Gitano got control of the ball when Benedykt Makomaski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Hats received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Gitano came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Hats slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Jacinto Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Hats in the 44th minute of play. Poseidon Star Club's Jacinto Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ixidor in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Palavicini FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Gaudencio Godoy hit a great ball. Poseidon Star Club's Tobias Mercurio got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobias Mercurio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedykt Makomaski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 70 minutes into the match, Palavicini FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Calvino came free, but Teofilo Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Poseidon Star Club getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Javier Lizer hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Sergio Hats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Gitano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 82 played minutes Palavicini FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Godoy. If Jonatan Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Poseidon Star Club's Jacinto Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Hats in the 90th minute of play. Jacinto Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ixidor in the 93rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Victoriano Ishmael in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poseidon Star Club's Isidro Esquipula. Timoteo Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Teofilo Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Javier Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poseidon Star Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Lizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poseidon Star Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
