Club Atletico El Linqueño's Ovidio Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Oro in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico El Linqueño's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Oro came free, but Ovidio Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico El Linqueño's Evaristo Felo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantino Anaya. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Hernan Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Florida AFC's Gustavo Koldo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico El Linqueño. Damian Berasko scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Semeno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Aguirre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Semeno. Club Atletico El Linqueño's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Severino Pacorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico El Linqueño's zone, Christian Oro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Semeno came out of the goal and Christian Oro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Virila in the 59th minute of play forced Florida AFC's goalkeeper Constantino Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes, Mauro Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico El Linqueño and the Florida AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico El Linqueño's Mauro Txurio got a free kick in the 60th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Ovidio Semeno successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Bazil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Constantino Anaya. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico El Linqueño's Federico Honesto got a free kick in the 95th minute. Constantino Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Felo in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atletico El Linqueño fully deserved thier win.
