Patricio Goito hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Florida AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Delmar Refugio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Florida AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Jeronimo Poncio scored to the left of an out of position Constantino Anaya, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Poncio in the 14th minute of play forced Florida AFC's goalkeeper Constantino Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Florida AFC's zone, Delmar Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Anaya came out of the goal and Delmar Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jeronimo Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Poncio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Constantino Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Expreso del 62. In the 28thth minute of the game Christian Oro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Expreso del 62's Orlando Dantel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantino Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Poncio in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Florida AFC defense, Delmar Refugio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Anaya. The Florida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Anaya should have stopped the shot. After 34 played minutes El Expreso del 62 got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Frederico. In the 37th match minute, Florida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Berasko to maneuver through the defense. El Expreso del 62's Orlando Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Oro in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Poncio made a kick off. Constantino Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Refugio in the 52nd minute of play. Christian Oro struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Orlando Dantel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florida AFC. In the 59th match minute, El Expreso del 62 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Frederico to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Christian Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Oro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Dantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Anaya having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Florida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Poncio came free, but Constantino Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Florida AFC's Damian Berasko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Dantel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nemesio Fernendo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The Florida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Florida AFC's Christian Oro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Constantino Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Poncio in the 75th minute of play. Christian Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El Expreso del 62's zone, Damian Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Dantel came out of the goal and Damian Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Florida AFC's Severino Pacorro got a free kick in the 90th minute. El Expreso del 62's Delmar Refugio got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Florida AFC defense, Jeronimo Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Anaya. The Florida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Anaya should have stopped the shot. El Expreso del 62 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Florida AFC for a fine match.
