Tipal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Eli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Tipal FC booed when Rivermanía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Gelmiro in the 16th minute of play forced Tipal FC's goalkeeper Luisito Sugar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mariano Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Tipal FC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Bingen. Luisito Sugar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Xacintu went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Tipal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Bingen to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Erauso to strike the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Xacintu in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luisito Sugar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luisito Sugar was a little too slow when Teofilo Poncio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Alberto Eli notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tipal FC's Luisito Sugar. Luisito Sugar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Rivermanía FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leonides Orkatz hit a great ball. Ruben Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Luisito Sugar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luisito Sugar was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Alberto Eli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Eli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Ruben Erauso's late challenge caught a Rivermanía FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Erauso helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Tipal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Erauso. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Leonides Orkatz took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Luisito Sugar to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Xacintu got free with Luisito Sugar in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Mikeldi in the 89th minute of play forced Rivermanía FC's goalkeeper Mariano Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tipal FC's Luisito Sugar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Eli in the 95th minute of play. Rivermanía FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
