Sergio Ladio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 18th minute, Jonas Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Teobaldo Frisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Ladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Damian Ignazio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the chacarita juniors defense, Teobaldo Frisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Ladio. The chacarita juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Ladio should have stopped the shot. Sergio Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Menendo in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Esteban Eguerdi notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of chacarita juniors's Sergio Ladio. Sergio Ladio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Frisco in the 38th minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Sergio Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Esteban Eguerdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Sergio Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Frisco in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Amorim was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, chacarita juniors's Sergio Ladio got control of the ball when Benito Menendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Frisco in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Julio Crescencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tumbaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chacarita juniors the free kick. Esteban Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Ladio having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Sergio Ladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Colas. In the 71st minute, Esteban Eguerdi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sergio Ladio. The goal made the score 3-6. In the 76th minute of the match Tumbaya got a corner. chacarita juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteban Eguerdi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tumbaya's Jonas Guillen to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Ladio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Guillen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Ladio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Frisco came free, but Sergio Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Esteban Eguerdi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Ladio. chacarita juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Eguerdi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-8.
