Spectators: 7167 (Terracing: 5377, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aurelio Elia took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 10 played minutes Cotagaita got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Chumo. Santo Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Estebe in the 13th minute of play. Cotagaita's Santo Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Quintun in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Cotagaita got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Endura. After 26 played minutes Cotagaita got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Endura. In the 27th minute Silvestre Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Aurelio Elia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cotagaita's Santo Eztebe. Santo Eztebe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Guillermo Estebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Santo Eztebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ceferino Malvin took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Eztebe. Santo Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Sportivo Devoto were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Weather to make the kick off. Bonifacio Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Weather in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Cotagaita getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Antonio Weather hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Ulises Frascuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aurelio Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Devoto's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Elia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Eztebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Cotagaita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Fidele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Enekoitz having to make a save. Santo Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Aurelio Elia sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Eulalio Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cotagaita's Santo Eztebe got control of the ball when Aurelio Elia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cotagaita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Silvestre Firme scored to the left of an out of position Santo Eztebe, making the score, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Sportivo Devoto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cotagaita.
