Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patricio Theodore started the match with the kick off. Patricio Theodore hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aicuña FC booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Goi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosario Central's Ladislao Jakobe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Theodore in the 9th minute of play. Gaudencio Cortez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ladislao Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Pes in the 14th minute of play. Saul Pes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ladislao Jakobe came out and tried to block the shot, but Saul Pes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Desiderio Chucho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ladislao Jakobe made a huge save. In the 31st minute Genaro Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rosario Central's Patricio Theodore in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aicuña FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Senin. In the 36th minute, Saul Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Chinto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. Ladislao Jakobe had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Saul Pes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saul Pes to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Gonchan. Ladislao Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Chucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Genaro Montrelle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aicuña FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Andres Katia fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Andres Katia a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Andres Katia. Ladislao Jakobe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Andres Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Katia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Cortez. Rosario Central's Ladislao Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Pes in the 72nd minute of play. Ladislao Jakobe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rosario Central's Ladislao Jakobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Montrelle in the 93rd minute of play. Aicuña FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
