The Amapola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alejo Savier hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Baltasar Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benedicto Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Endira in the 20th minute of the match. Gabriel Arixo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicanor Sotil. Amapola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Baltasar Lekubegi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicanor Sotil. Baltasar Lekubegi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Justo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Endira in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, Salagasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Hanot to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Savier charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Savier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejo Savier kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Augusto Cordarius fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amapola's protests and gave Augusto Cordarius a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Amapola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salagasta:s goal. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Salagasta's Basilio Matia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nicanor Sotil. Amapola's Nicanor Sotil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Amapola from getting a goal against them. Amapola's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Paulino Ubendu scored to the left of an out of position Nicanor Sotil, making the score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Amapola's Alejo Savier got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Endira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Justo Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Benedicto Faro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute Paulino Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Endira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Endira in the 63rd minute of play forced Salagasta's goalkeeper Benedicto Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Basilio Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Lekubegi in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Velasco in the 71st minute of play forced Salagasta's goalkeeper Benedicto Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Endira in the 73rd minute of play. Nicanor Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nicanor Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Lekubegi in the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Tercero during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Amapola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Savier to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes Salagasta got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Hanot. When the referee ended the match the Salagasta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
