Paolo Quinteros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Quinteros having to interfere. Lolog's Paolo Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Nazario in the 8th minute of play. Paolo Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Nayely in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Damian Nayely had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Quinteros. Lolog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Nayely was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Esteban Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Nazario in the 30th minute of play forced Lolog's goalkeeper Paolo Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Quinteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Paz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Quinteros was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
