After 4 minutes, Geronimo Garaile made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Che y los zurditos's Godfredo Leguizamón tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of El Che y los zurditos booed when Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Urbano Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sportivo Italiano fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Sportivo Italiano's Tadeo Marquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Bernal during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Italiano's Paulo Bernal got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes El Che y los zurditos got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Tonio. Godfredo Leguizamón came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Italiano's Geronimo Garaile. But to his dismay, Geronimo Garaile quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Gualterio Mikelar took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Leguizamón. Godfredo Leguizamón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After some careless play in the El Che y los zurditos defense, Tadeo Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Leguizamón. The El Che y los zurditos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Leguizamón should have stopped the shot. Tadeo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Leguizamón having to interfere. The El Che y los zurditos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Italiano were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Garaile stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Garaile in the 52nd minute of play forced El Che y los zurditos's goalkeeper Godfredo Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Garaile scored 0-6 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Leguizamón, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Leguizamón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Marquez went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Tadeo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Garaile, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Geronimo Garaile fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Godfredo Leguizamón, passed just outside the right post. Geronimo Garaile received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Godfredo Leguizamón came out and tried to block the shot, but Geronimo Garaile slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Sportivo Italiano's Tadeo Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Leguizamón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Che y los zurditos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Geronimo Garaile scored to the left of an out of position Godfredo Leguizamón, making the score, 0-10. When the match was over Sportivo Italiano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Che y los zurditos throughout the match.
