After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Pascual Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Costante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque Nabar did an outstanding performance 53 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Eulalio Ferrer in the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Guido Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bohemios Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Estevon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jose Eguzki came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Esperanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Eguzki couldn't finish the play. After 73 played minutes Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Ekialde. Esperanza's Pascual Costante got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Ferrer having to interfere. If Javier Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bohemios Plate's Mauricio Crescencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Bohemios Plate from getting a goal against them. If Pascual Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Esperanza had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
