When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mauro Prejun sped through Huergo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justo Tximitx. The supporters of Huergo booed when Sumampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Fidencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Ubarna hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes, Sumampa's Filiberto Feliz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justo Tximitx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sumampa reached it. Justo Tximitx made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Amado Ciceron sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes of play, Huergo's Victorio Bernard made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Tab was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Alvaro Arotza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Tab was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 24thth minute of the game Alvaro Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sumampa's Jorge Tab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Cordeal charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Cordeal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Huergo's Evelio Cordeal got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, one of Huergo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Huergo's Justo Tximitx got control of the ball when Amado Ciceron tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Huergo's Alvaro Arotza in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sumampa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Timoteo Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Bonifacio Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Bonifacio Ayala made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Huergo's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Fidencio came free, but Justo Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Tab having to interfere. The supporters of Sumampa booed when Huergo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sumampa were furious when Christian Celipe was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sumampa! The goalkeeper, Jorge Tab, was totally fooled by Huergo's Victorio Bernard, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Arotza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Tab. That made the score 2-4 in the 77 minute of play. If Alvaro Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Fidencio in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sumampa's zone, Alvaro Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Tab came out of the goal and Alvaro Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sumampa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huergo's performance. The match ended with a win for Huergo.
