The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marciano Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Carlomagno, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Abelardo Mattin sped through CapoDelSur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basilio Jerardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Beltxe in the 8th minute of play forced Caleufú AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CapoDelSur's Albino Feliz in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CapoDelSur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Mattin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Basilio Jerardo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Silvano Roano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilio Jerardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvano Roano slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 31st minute. Cirilo Carlomagno took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Ireno. Marciano Ireno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Abelardo Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caleufú AFC's Anastasio Pudes got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Feliz in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Feliz to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Caleufú AFC's Abelardo Mattin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Jerardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Abelardo Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Jerardo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Mattin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Jerardo saved CapoDelSur from getting behind. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind CapoDelSur's goalkeeper Basilio Jerardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to CapoDelSur getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cirilo Carlomagno hit a great ball. When Silvano Roano came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Caleufú AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Roano couldn't finish the play. In the 64thth minute of the game Abelardo Mattin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CapoDelSur's Basilio Jerardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Quico was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 69 minutes into the match, Caleufú AFC's Abelardo Mattin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Jerardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Jerardo having to interfere. Manuel Quintana hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Basilio Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Silvano Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Silvano Roano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in CapoDelSur's zone, Joaquin Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Jerardo came out of the goal and Joaquin Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CapoDelSur's Basilio Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Mattin in the 88th minute of play. Silvano Beltxe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Marciano Ireno made a huge save. Caleufú AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
