In a very dangerous position, a player in Nogolí fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Generoso Ugaitz had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Faustino Esiquio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Teo Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emílio da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Jeronimo Artizar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Generoso Ugaitz, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Taficillo FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Silverio Roldanillo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Ixaka in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio da Silveira saved Taficillo FC from getting behind. Hilario Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Generoso Ugaitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Faustino Esiquio. Generoso Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Artizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Taficillo FC's Emílio da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Ixaka in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Artizar in the 47th minute of play forced Nogolí's goalkeeper Generoso Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Ixaka was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Frichoso in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Ugaitz saved Nogolí from getting behind. After 54 played minutes Taficillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Artizar. If Teo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Nogolí got a freekick which was hit by Anier Onofre. Generoso Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Artizar in the 61st minute of the match. Teo Tebaldo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio da Silveira. Emílio da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Teo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Emílio da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Igor Ixaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio da Silveira was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, Nogolí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Taficillo FC's zone, Igor Ixaka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio da Silveira came out of the goal and Igor Ixaka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
