A collision led to Matos FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joel Pelayo hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Joel Pelayo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th minute, Joel Pelayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joel Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Matos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Lluc came free, but Maximo Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Espiridion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Pelayo in the 31st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Pelayo couldn't finish the play. The Matos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malaspina were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Conrado Lluc made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Matos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Cordearo. Joel Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Espiridion having to interfere. Matos FC's Maximo Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Lluc in the 59th minute of play. Malaspina's Conrado Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Lluc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Maximo Bide made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Tomás Min got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Leonides Espiridion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Baldomiro Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joel Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Pelayo in the 88th minute of the match. Malaspina's Conrado Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Lluc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Maximo Bide skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th minute, Rodrigo Baumar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Malaspina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Matos FC.
