Higinio Foro's late challenge caught a san alberto hurtado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lee Rosen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Lluc to make the kick off. Hermengildo Tristan struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Leonides Espiridion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for san alberto hurtado. When Conrado Lluc came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Malaspina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Lluc couldn't finish the play. If Higinio Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Lluc in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lee Rosen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conrado Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malaspina made a substitution. Wágner Massa replaced Fidel Cordarell. Lee Rosen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Lluc went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Lee Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Lluc in the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Wágner Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malaspina and the san alberto hurtado players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Malaspina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
