The tension between the Salsacate and the Tucumán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Salsacate got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pitta. The supporters of Tucumán FC booed when Salsacate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salsacate's Daniele Di Mario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Henrico in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Cristo Enmanuel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tucumán FC and the Salsacate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tucumán FC's Cristo Enmanuel got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jesus Urre hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Marcelino Muno hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sven-Åke Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Maurino having to interfere. When Marco Maiorga fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salsacate's protests and gave Marco Maiorga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Salsacate getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marco Maiorga hit a great ball. Daniele Di Mario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Henrico's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salsacate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tucumán FC the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Daniele Di Mario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Henrico in the 61st minute. Santos Paulin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The coaching staff of Salsacate protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Santos Paulin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Zeca Castro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 90thth minute of the game Leopoldo Henrico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salsacate's Daniele Di Mario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Casomiro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Salsacate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tucumán FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
