Armstrong's Fabricio Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Myr in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Hanot got free with Enrique Nikola in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Myr was the one to do the kick off. Fabricio Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Myr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Llorian had great luck who in the 61stth minute grab hold of the ball when Börje Myr from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 82nd minute of the match, Börje Myr tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabricio Llorian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
